Awesome deck for outdoor dining. I had the chicken chimichanga with green sauce which was really delicious. It was a little heavy for a hot day but still satisfying. Try the mango margarita! |

This is the best of the 3 El Mariachi's, if not for the food then certainly for the atmosphere. Not to mention the outdoor seating in the summer. Really good margaritas, guacamole, and tons of variety in authentic mexican cooking, or at least at close as I've had, especially around Albany. |

I'd definitely say this is the place to go for Mexican in Albany. They have a great menu with a ton of options, food is reasonably priced, service is great, chips are outstanding (do they make them there?) and plentiful. Salsa is outstanding.
A good amount of vegetarian options.
I really like this place and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for really delicious Mexican food. |

This is the place for Mexican food in Downtown Albany. I went with my girlfriend on Saturday night at 7pm, and they were able to seat us right away. She got a margarita, which was strong, and made perfectly. We saw pitchers of sangria which looked very enjoyable around us. The chips and salsa were pretty good as well.
The service was quick, and were helpful in determining what to order. I ordered a chicken dish is a cream style sauce. I put it on tortillas and it was real solid all around. My girlfriend ordered a shrimp burrito, which she raved about. We will definitely be going back. |

I didn't think there was enough chicken in my chimichanga. The food was good however. They had cheesecake from Cheescake MacHismo which was really good, but around $6 a slice. The food came out really fast an the service was good. |

I am very picky when it comes to Mexican food and I certainly like this place. The margaritas are expensive but worth it. The staff is really nice and I don't even mind it when they card me. You can't really go wrong with a bean burrito but I must say that they are scrumptious here. It's tough for something to top Border Cafe (in Boston) in my mind but this is a decent substitute. |

It's tough to find good Mexican in the area, but this place fits the bill. Plenty of vegetarian options and great margaritas, make El Mariachi II a winner in my book. Many traditional Mexican entrees fill the menu, with a few of the Tex-Mex favorites that everyone seems to expect from a Mexican restaurant. The waitstaff are attentive and I've never had a problem getting a table at this location, even in the summer. |

El Mariachi is on my top ten list for dinning out in the Albany area. I have yet to have a bad experience at this wonderful Mexican restaurant. You will find very traditional Mexican dishes, Spanish fare, more Tex-Mex style burritos and tacos and lots of vegetarian options. I highly recommend their Sangria, Tamales, and don't leave without trying the Flan. They have a outdoor dinning area in the summer and a attentive and friendly wait staff. Plus any restaurant that brings complimentary home made tortilla chips and multiple salsas is ok in my book. |
